Mizerak makes pool cues for people who actually play pool — not collectors chasing limited runs or bar-corner decorations that never leave the wall mount. We started because most cues on the market fall into two camps: cheap ones that warp after a summer in a garage, or “pro” cues priced like a night out just because someone put a signature on the butt. There’s a wide stretch of table between those two, and that’s where we live.
Every cue gets built from straight-grain maple, checked for warp before it ever gets wrapped or finished, and hit on a real table by people who’d notice if the tip felt off. We’re not chasing trick shots or flashy inlays — a cue’s job is to hit true, feel balanced in your hand, and hold up to a decade of Friday nights. If it can’t do that, it doesn’t leave the shop.
No pro endorsements, no “as seen in” badges, no story about a guy who carved cues on the back porch by candlelight. Just cues priced for what they cost to make well, sold to people who’d rather spend on chalk and time at the table than on packaging. That’s the whole pitch.
